Spiritual Counseling in Denver, CO

Are You So Busy Surviving That You’ve Lost Touch With Yourself?

Have you been moving through life, diligently caring for everyone else and managing daily responsibilities while quietly wondering where you went?

Do profound questions about faith, purpose, or the meaning of life keep running in the background of your mind?

Perhaps you’re considering counseling because you want to learn how to draw upon your spiritual beliefs to heal, grow, and become more present in your life.

Or maybe you need guidance for finding hope and a sense of peace as you navigate grief, religious wounding, trauma, or even the chaotic state of our world.

Feeling Lost Even When Life Looks Fine On The Outside

Spiritual disconnection can be confusing because it doesn’t always look like crisis. You may be functioning well, doing what needs to be done, and still feel anxious, burned out, or strangely empty. Maybe your life reflects what others expected from you, but not the values, convictions, or inner truth you want to live.

You may also be trying to understand experiences that do not fit neatly into everyday language. A painful sense of empathy, an uncanny premonition, or a spiritually transformative experience may have left you with more questions than answers. Maybe something inside drove you here looking for support that respects both your mental health and your spiritual life.

With the right support, that kind of intuition, curiosity, and inner knowing can transform your life—and that’s what spiritual counseling at Live Your Knowing is all about. My goal is to help you rebuild that sacred connection to yourself and create a life that feels more peaceful, purposeful, and true to who you are.

Longing For More Meaning Is Part Of Being Human

Many people spend years trying to discover fulfillment from the outside in. Like many people, maybe you pursued a college degree, career, relationship, or responsibilities you thought would bring happiness, only to realize something still feels off.

That doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful or hard to satisfy. It most likely means your true self is asking for more attention than the outer world usually allows. In a culture built around productivity, technology, and endless demands, self-reflection can feel like a selfish luxury. But longing for something more isn’t self-centered or shallow.

It’s a calling from within—and it’s crucial we listen to what that longing is trying to communicate.

The Search For Meaning Often Begins With Disruption

Discovering your purpose is rarely easy. It requires presence, honesty, and a willingness to listen inward—to your thoughts and emotions, to your mind and body, to your deeper spiritual knowing. Unfortunately, questions like “what is the meaning of life?” or “what is my purpose?” often grow louder in the face of pain, loss, change, doubt, or even intuitive awakening.

Although these experiences can stir up powerful thoughts and emotions, they can also reveal profound truths, inner strengths, and opportunities for change and rebirth. That’s why the guidance of a spiritual counselor can be so transformative. It helps you connect with the wisdom within you to answer those important questions and forge a path that reflects what is truly important to you.

Living With Greater Joy And Intention Through Spiritual Counseling

Some people worry that therapy will force them to abandon their spiritual beliefs or conform to a life that doesn’t feel genuine. However, working with a spiritual counselor is about you—what you need, where you hurt, and where you want your life to be.

Together, we can look at the places where your outer life and inner wisdom may feel disconnected, so you can begin living with more clarity and peace. I’ll help you identify what feels authentic, sacred, and deeply your own, enabling you to not only heal, but also thrive, whether in your relationships, your career, your daily life, or your spiritual identity.

What Spiritual Counseling Sessions May Entail

In our work together, I will listen closely to what brings you here and what kind of support feels most useful. We may talk about a loss, a life transition, or a spiritual experience that changed how you see yourself. We can also explore the places in your life where you keep feeling stuck, disconnected, or pulled away from what matters most.

Some sessions may feel reflective and conversational. Others might focus on grounding, body awareness, or intuitive exploration. Whatever your goals are, I’ll never rush you toward a neat answer. Instead, we will give the truth of your experience enough space to naturally make itself known.

An Integrative Approach To Healing And Growth

Because each person has a different history, temperament, and way of making meaning, I do not rely on one fixed therapeutic strategy.

Sometimes, our work may draw from familiar approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, or Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. These methods can help us notice old thought patterns, understand different parts of the self, and bring more clarity to the choices in front of you.

There may also be parts of your experience that transcend what traditional talk therapy can help explain. Maybe you feel other people’s emotions too deeply, or you sense a connection to something beyond this physical realm that’s hard to articulate.

That’s where energy work, intuition-based introspection, and past life processing may come into play. As we seek to understand the elusive and unnameable, I can also utilize Transpersonal Counseling, a holistic therapeutic approach centered around spiritual growth, healing, and wellness.

Because my background as a psychotherapist and spiritual counselor includes Somatic Counseling, I’ll be listening for what your physical self may be expressing. Your body may register fear, grief, truth, or resistance before your mind has words for it. By slowing down and noticing what you feel physically, we can begin translating those signals instead of pushing through or ignoring them.

A Life That Feels More Peaceful, Present, And True

As our work deepens, spiritual counseling can help you build more trust in what you hear within yourself. Little by little, you may begin to recognize what nourishes you, what no longer feels aligned, and what your deeper self has been trying to say.

Instead of feeling separate from everyday life, your spiritual life can begin to shape the way you make choices, care for yourself, and move through the world. In the process, you’ll gain a better understanding of yourself and what you need to live with greater joy, meaning, and authenticity.

Quietly Harboring Questions About Spiritual Counseling?

  • Through therapy, I can help you bring healing and growth into the spiritual life you are already living. Rather than becoming someone else, this work is about becoming more fully present in your body, your truth, and the quiet wisdom already within you.

Throughout therapy, we’ll move at a pace that respects where you are now while gently tuning into what your mind, body, or spiritual self may be asking you to pay attention to.

  • No. You do not need to use the same language I use, believe what I believe, or define spirituality in any particular way. Some clients are working through religious doubt. Others are trying to understand why they sense there is more to life than what they can easily explain.

My role as a therapist is not to decide what your spiritual experiences mean. It is to help you search your beliefs, curiosity, and doubts with care in order to help you find the answers already within you.

  • If you have had a spiritual, energetic, or intuitive experience that was dismissed or misunderstood, I understand that your trust is to be earned, not taken for granted.

As your spiritual counselor, I want you to know that you’re not strange, dramatic, or too much—you’re connected to something that most people overlook or cannot even conceive of. That makes you amazing!

Whether you’re wondering, “Am I psychic or crazy?” or simply trying to understand yourself more honestly, I will always meet you with respect, compassion, and validation.
